Hi there, first time posting. quick question
is there anyway to power the robot hat with a high capacity power bank that supports PD? The Anker one I have right now has PD which supports 5,9,15,20v. wondering if anyone has done it.

Theoretically, it is possible to use a power bank to charge the battery. However, it does not supply power to the robot hat. Connecting the power bank to the robot hat’s Type-C interface can only charge the battery; this interface is solely for charging the battery and does not directly power the robot hat.
Thanks for the response. I guess then I have a follow up question, are there any high capacity batteries, or battery extending packs that I can install? Looking to have a way to both extending the capacity and provide a quick swap interface to change the battery.
Please share which robot kit’s battery are you referring to?
This battery is our custom-made one, with a capacity of 2000 mAh.
If you want to choose a higher-capacity battery, you’ll need to select and produce it yourself.
We can share the battery specifications with you, and you can choose according to those specifications.
Battery Specifications:
Voltage: 3.7V
Rechargeable
18650 lithium battery (two cells)
Connected in series
You can select a larger battery capacity.
Battery connector: XH2.54 3P
The kit that I have is the Picar-x v2
Thanks for the spec. I will give that a try.
So I am thinking maybe
Would this work?
Can I use even 3-4 batteries in 1 pack?
Theoretically, the battery box you provided is compatible with the batteries. However, you can only connect a maximum of two batteries in series; connecting three or more batteries in series is not allowed. Additionally, if you choose this type of battery box, it is recommended to use top-button batteries instead of coin-cell batteries, as coin-cell batteries may not make proper contact with the metal pieces in the battery box.
