Raspad 3 support and update of raspad-launcher

Hi @SunFounder_Moderator ,

I recently reactivated my raspad 3 and am trying to update to a newer version, i.e. debian 13 Trixie.
This currently leads to a lot of problems with wifi, audio, on-screen keyboard etc…

I also noticed that the specific raspad adaption coming with Raspad-Launcher are not working as well. The raspad-launcher project itself seems to be abandoned. Latest PR from 2022 and the installer supports only for debian up to 10 (buster), which is pretty old (and unsecure).

Since SunFounder is still selling the Raspad 3, I wonder, what is your strategy on Software and Support.
Can you please give me a hint for that?

Yes.

Raspad-Launcher has been discontinued, as the new version of the system includes built-in functionality for rotating the touchscreen display.

If you want to rotate the screen, please follow the settings shown in our screenshots.

But this does not work automatically like on an tablet. I need to do it each time I rotate the Raspad :thinking: .

Would be nice to have the feature to do it according to the accel sensor built-in the raspad…

That’s correct. The built-in screen rotation function in the system requires manual configuration.

Because the new system is incompatible with installing the driver for the built-in accelerometer, the automatic screen rotation feature is no longer functional.
