I am very new and a total novice. I bought two 3:1 Ultimate Starter Kits for each of my kids. For one I have been able to get my desktop computer to show ports to then select the Arduino Board to allow the sketch pad to synch to that port. For my other kit, I have tried two different laptops with USB ports, and nothing I do gets the device to recognize the Ports in ‘My Devices’. Any suggestions for a not so technical dad?
Please connect the UNO board with the computer’s USB port, then open the “Device Manager” on your computer to check the port information. Take a screenshot of the information and send it to us.
Try using different USB ports on the computer and different USB data cables to see if that resolves the issue.
If possible, please provide a video of the process. This will help us analyze and assist you in resolving the problem more effectively.
